Calling all participants over the age of 17 with an interest in Refereeing our U11 Hurling and Football Games in 2023.

Our U11 games take place on Wednesday evenings on reduced pitch sizes with portable goals on the 21-meter line and all games are 25 minutes per half.  With a shortage of Referees our Coiste na nOg are now looking to recruit U11 referees in all areas of Wicklow.  Please select your choice of venue to attend this theory workshop and a further practical session will take place early in 2023 to qualify and confirm new U11 Referees. All participants will be asked to complete a relevant U11 rules test on the first night and only those who pass will be selected to go on and complete the practical session in preparation for the new season.

(All Participants must bring pen & paper on the first night) 

Hopefully with a year understanding the rules and the experience gained at under 11 in 2023 we can then organise an Adult Referee course for everybody to referee at U13 age group in 2024.
