Jim Cummins – Rest in Peace

With great sadness we announce the passing of former Kilbride player, Jim Cummins. Jim passed away on Monday in London surrounded by his family and loved ones.
Jim played in goals for the Club for years and picked up his trade with the very successful Kilbride School’s team. He loved playing in goal and even more representing his village throughout the County. Jim was a dedicated member of the Club and every year entered his numbers into the Club Lotto all the way from London. Jim took incredible pleasure in seeing the development of the new pitch always making donations towards the project and showing his vocal support on Facebook which encouraged others.
Funeral arrangements will be announced over the coming days and the Club will form a Guard of Honour for Jim.
Our prayers at the time are with Jim, his loved ones and his extended family.
Jim Cummins, always a Kilbride Gael.
